Virgin Wife edition by Alexa Riley Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

  • I can not figure out what AR was thinking with this plot premise. The female lead is a weak, coward who wouldn’t do anything for herself. The male lead was insane in my opinion if he could let the love of his life marry someone else.

Like I said in my review for book 1, the male lead here was quite duplicitous and I can’t like him or the female lead characters.

The “Virgin Roommate” due out in June, I’m sure will be the only book in this linked series that will be worth reading.

  • I liked this book but not as much as Virgin Husband. I absolutely loved that one.

But I really enjoyed this book. I liked how it had cameos from Aiden and Caroline (sorry I'm a little biased). They weren't necessarily supporting characters, more like a drop by kinda way. I liked how Wyatt and Caroline fell in love with each other at 14. This book really didn't have insta-love since they knew each other a long time. It just took them a while to get there. I thought it was kinda of sweet the Wyatt tricked Savannah into marrying him. That was a first.

I pretty sure it was mentioned that Wyatt was a virgin too (so for that I applaud both of you ladies). Wyatt and Savannah didn't appear to be the jerks they were being portrayed in Vigin Husband. I didn't think I would like them seeing how they were not so very nice. But I ended up liking them. They were smart. Witty. I actually liked Wyatt. He was a charmer. I liked Savannah too. She was the most surprising. But this one definitely got my heart racing.

Really enjoyable read. Way to go ladies.
  • Virgin Wife is sweet, sexy, and oh so wonderful. Savannah has always done what she is told. After her annulment, Wyatt steps up to take what's rightfully his. He gives her the strength and courage to stand up for herself. Will Savannah reciprocate the feelings that Wyatt has toward her? Will Wyatt get everything he wants and deserves? This book is steamy, intriguing, and fun. Hot cocky alpha males, second chance romance, and true love. What more can you ask for? I really enjoyed this novella and look forward to more in the virgin marriage series.
  • I’m going to admit that at first, I was a little nervous about reading this book, because I didn’t know how I felt about Savannah, after book one. After reading a bit, I quickly realized that she just wanted to be loved, and she wanted someone who loved her back.

Now, it did take me a bit to like Savannah, but Wyatt is a different story. He was all alpha male right from the beginning, and I loved every minute of it. He knew that Savannah was the one for him, and once he made his mind up, there was nothing or no one getting in his way.

Overall, I adored the connection between these two, and I’m glad Savannah finally stood up for herself. This was another great insta-love story that I couldn’t get enough of.
  • The guy is sweet and the girl is.....ok. she is very weak and that bothers me a lot.

    Maybe spoiler alert
So, he tells EVERYONE in the world shes still a virgin basically embarrassed the sh*t out of her. He gets a pass for this really? No way! To be honest he selfishness I would not stand for that.
Then, he let's her marry someone without a fight in the beginning? Why?! What's the point?!
So, no this was not one of AR betters. I wouldn't waste the .99 get other books of hers. They missed the mark with this one.
  • Virgin Wife is the story of Savannah, Aiden’s best friend and former wife from Virgin Husband. The moment she signed her annulment papers, Wyatt, her lawyer, swooped in and took her as his wife, and the rest, of course, is happily ever after.

Alexa Riley did good by Savannah here, and, as with AR’s signature alphas, it was fun seeing Wyatt run roughshod over her just to prove to her that he has wanted her from the very beginning. I’m glad they both got their HEA in the end.
  • Virgin Husband was only on ok read for me so I wasn't sure what to expect from Virgin Wife. I'm happy to say that it was much better than the first book and now I'm looking forward to the third book in this collection, Virgin Roommate.
